These are pretty cool! I finally got some length on my nails (they’re still short, but pretty uniform in length) but haven’t had time to paint them. I honestly can’t tell what the UV lamp did…. Apparently it hardened them, but they look and feel the same. I think I was expecting them to look shinier and feel harder like a gel nail, but they still feel like a rubbery nail sticker (and have a semi-glossy finish). Let’s see if they last longer than say, Sally nail stickers or Jamberry.Easy to apply. It took me about 20 minutes to do everything from prep-to-finish. Not bad! Also- don’t expect the nail prep pad to be alcohol-based! It felt more oily, but not oily… ??♀️UPDATE: I’ve had these on for an entire week… 7 days, zero lifting! I’ve worn them in the hot tub a bunch of times, swimming in a lake, in the bath tube, and I’ve washed my hands a zillion times. I even had to scrub something off and used my nails to get some residue off. Nothing has made these fall off. ? it’s crazy! Definitely getting these again. I also have enough to do these at least one more time, if not two. If you do it right (and have short nails) you can use each decal twice. I figured that out halfway through, and started using one end for my left hand, and the other side for my right hand. The other strip is completely unused still!Hope this helps ?One of the reasons I love Danni and Toni is that they make nice, wide strips. Not a lot of stretching is required, but they will stretch nicely if you need to make a smaller size fit. They're on the thin side, so make sure if you do stretch, you do so gently. Also if your nails are short like mine, you'll be able to cut each strip in half, potentially giving you 4 sets! The value is really fantastic. The color I'm wearing, Aria, is very pretty. If you look too closely, it looks a little grainy/pixilated. But from any reasonable distance you really can't tell.I do wish that d&t wasn't quite so squared at the cuticle, I find myself having to trim the corners a bit on some fingers.I've learned a few tricks to help them look more professional, less sticker like. One is too lightly brush the edges with acetone before they cure. The acetone melts the edge a little and makes it more flush to your actual nail. This looks more natural and prevents lifting and hair snagging. I also add a builder gel on top of the strip, and a gel top coat. They feel super strong and look glossy and thick. Also if you have problems with lifting and nail pop-offs in general, it really helps to gently rough your natural nail, and use a dehydrator. I can wear these for 2 weeks if I follow those steps.I am new to UV cure nail strips but I am officially a convert. I have a steady hand and can apply traditional liquid polish well enough, but never in my life have I managed to dry a manicure without ruining it somehow. I always touch something hairy or knock my hand into something and dent the polish while it’s still soft. I had accepted that I would just never be able to have nicely painted nails, but nail strips have changed everything. I started out with the brand Dashing Diva, and if you are familiar with that brand, these are a little different. I find that the Danni and Toni strips are a little thinner than the Dashing Diva ones, which I find is actually better for me. I feel that they conform better to the surface of the nail, and they don’t make the free edge feel as thick and blunt (a minor complaint, obviously, for perfect nails, but it’s nice to be able to scratch an itch). I have noticed that they don’t last quite as long as the DD strips, but I still get at least a week, and by then I want to change the color anyway. These particular strips were also long enough that you could probably cut most of them in half and use a single sticker for two nails, further stretching the number of manicures you can do from each kit. I also feel that the D&T adhesive is a little gentler on my nails, and it removes a little more easily and cleanly.I have had the best results when I cut off the excess before curing, then file each nail down to shape in ONE direction, using successively finer files, and then buffing/smoothing. I am also very careful to make sure that I properly push back my cuticles to ensure that the adhesive is only sticking to my nail, not to any skin, and I make sure to wipe my nails with alcohol to remove any oil or dirt. I removed one star because in all three kits I bought, the alcohol prep pad was completely dry and I had to use my own isopropyl alcohol to wet them again. Not a big deal, but something to be ready for since it is a really critical step.Overall I love these and will order this brand again in the future.Love the look, even got a compliant on them. Saves so much $ versus going to the nail salon and my nails look just as good. For the ombré look to show, your nails have to be long though. I find for the stickers that don’t quite fit your nail fully you can stretch the sticker and it fits just right. Stretching the bottom area of the sticker close to the cuticle will help it lay more flat and look more natural. These are lovely ? haven't done a great job with putting them on, but with a bit of practice i will hopefully do better next time. I will update on how long they last later on.So a week has gone by they have lasted well although i lost 3 of them somehow when i was working they have been very good and would purchase again.I have the worse nails ever. Nail varnish just never stays on and I'm to lazy to do the gel nail varnish so I thought I would give these a try. The first time they didn't stay on. Then I realised I needed to put a bottom coat on my nails first. They have been on almost a week and my nails feel so much stronger. Pretty easy to put on after a practise. I will be buying more for sure. I also purchased the uv light from this company as it is very compactI really wanted to love this product. It was only “okay”. It looked better than a poorly done traditional self-manicure, for sure, but wasn’t comparable with a good professional gel manicure. I felt the colour was a bit dull, and unless you get the sizing perfectly it can look a bit odd. Mine lasted only two days before I noticed a crack and I removed them shortly thereafter. I won’t buy again, but they might work well for other people. I assume this is a “hit or miss” product.Having used a brand costing a similar price I was expecting these to be as good . The other brand looked spot on for over 2 weeks, with no nail wraps coming off. However these are awful. Horrible to put on. No stretch ! Didn’t even last a couple of hours before popping off. Don’t buy
